The substitute period is from the 3rd of February  - 7th of March.

If you are able to start before the 3rd of February, that will be a considered an advantage.

 

Viborg International School is a department within Viborg private Realskole.  The school has a long history and the International Department opened in 2010.  Our vision is to provide the children within our community with a stimulating, supportive environment where they can feel safe and valued.  We follow the Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum framework and the successful candidate would be responsible for delivering the Cambridge Primary curriculum across the abovementioned subjects

In our combined school there is a total of 820 students with students from 0 - 10th grade (5-16 years) and the International Department accounts for 85 of our students. We have seven international classes consisting of a wide variety of cultures, mixed age groups and academic levels and, therefore, your differentiation skills must be excellent. 

We are seeking an individual who preferably have:

  • Native speaker or English as first language
  • Experience of teaching in Early Years/Key Stage 1 and 2 and English key stage 6.
  • Prior experience with ESL students/or has taught in an international school.
  • Prior experience with EAL students will be looked on favourably.
  • Can incorporate different learning styles in their teaching
  • Can think creatively and organize the curriculum and ensure coverage of all Cambridge units in mixed age group setting using clearly defined differentiation.
